Illustration Book Design Role Playing Game RPG Fun Project Freelance

This project is a Role Playing Game (RPG) book called “Encruzilhadas, o Jogo da Sua Vida” (Crossroads, the game of your life), in which the reader can make his own story based on different kinds of decisions that will lead to a particular ending.

I worked on this project in 2010 and this sample is already the second edition. My role was to create the sixteen illustrations that are present in this book, including the cover. The layout and lettering were designed by the book publisher “Outras Letras Editora”.

The book is mostly designed for teenagers and aims to make them think about the consequences of taking drugs, alcohol, tobacco and all kinds of unhealthy things—specially during a crucial moment of life, the year when they apply to the University. The project was designed for a Brazilian group of researchers and the book was distributed over many schools.
